In 1995 Kenny Anderson, singer and songwriter for the Scottish bands, launched his own label, with his own solo project, a different and stress-free force was created which gathered huge fan following in jazz and domino circles.

The catchy, lovely, mellow tunes made his fans fall in love with these songs. His songs dared to explore brave new lyrical territory and have a unique quiver which creates a soundtrack of the romanticized version of life in a coastal village. They can be heard late in the night, or for a quiet Sunday; when you when you need calm, from the world full of speed.

His towering, beautiful and powerful songs are rich in regional accents and the sound of quivering vocals tells a story.

They are one of the most commercially successful progressive rock bands. From the outset they focused on combining classical pieces with rock music and sang solo pieces, highlighting the ability of each member of the band which covered classical compositions. Poems written by Lake brought the band to prominence. Their band devoted an entire album to classical work. They understood the pulse of the people and composed hard rock songs, and comic songs, and were recognized as pioneers in progressive rock. Their numbers had complex timings and striking dynamics and dealt with subjects like the futility of war and religious hypocrisy besides the topics that held appeal to the listeners of that era. The breadth and complexity of the musical album helped to build their reputation of creativity and experimentation in rock music.

Their songs were tightly produced and carefully orchestrated. On stage, the band exhibited musicianship, extravagance and aggression.

ELP re-invented their music, and drumming abilities, and showed to the world their genius. They made impacts on many minds and still carry nostalgia about their songs, which have an unending charm of their own. They never appear old and are hardly forgotten.

Emerson, Lake and Palmer were progressive rock’s first super stars and conquering heroes, they succeeded in increasing the audience for rock, to become a radio phenomenon.

Depeche Mode means hurried fashion or fashion dispatch. They began in a humble way with synthetic pop, putting in a lot of craftsmanship, ideas, and attitudes that very soon captured the imagination of the youth all across Europe and USA. Along with the music, songwriting rapidly evolved and improved and many political and social issues were highlighted in their songs. They also composed songs on the greed of multinational corporations. Their song was used as the theme to West German TV’s coverage of the 1984 Olympics. In contrast to the political and environmental subjects addressed by them, some songs were mostly concerned with personal themes like sexual politics, adulterous relationships and arbitrary divine justice. They appealed primarily to an alternative audience who were unhappy with the dominance of soft rock and disco. Gloomy days resulted in increasingly dark and serious songs which added a depth to their appeal. They were considered teen idols and were very popular not only with teenagers but also regularly featured in European teen magazines. By imaginative sampling and leaving the older styles they introduced shades of atmospheric and textured sound. Lyrics with a darker tone and carrying on the pessimism of life became regular features with them.

Their songs depicted total energy, enthusiasm and commitment to contribute towards the group’s success and in turn received the respect and acknowledgement, fans and admirers as they had chart toppers, at a frequent pace. In total the band played to millions across 31 countries sold over 100 million records and played to audiences in excess of 30 million. They conducted many tours that were grossing and critically acclaimed, enjoyable, and rewarding and gave the fans new material in their live concerts. The energy of the crowds came to life through them. Depeche Mode became the most popular electronic band of the world and the greatest British pop groups and the most influential groups over the last 30 years, .They inspired generations of new musicians and had a great reputation for best recording techniques and innovative use of sampling. They had raised the stakes and set examples for others to emulate. Their songs always made you stronger in the moment of darkness, fear and solitude.

Numerous Depeche Mode remixes by DJs are available even today and they appear more charming and significant as time passes.

With their frequent dark, moodier stuff their lyrics had the power of getting the music heard as well as felt deep inside the mind and body and such a classy collection has once again been brought before the fans to enjoy and have a great time. Simply Vinyl proudly presents them and you can have it at a click at

Young’s compositions are characterized by his distinctive guitar work, deeply personal lyrics and signature high tenor singing voice. Although he plays several different instruments, including piano and harmonica, his idiosyncratic electric and claw hammer like acoustic guitar playing are the defining characteristics of a ragged and melodious sound. While Young has experimented with differing music styles, including swing and electronic music throughout his career, his best works are acousticfolk and country rock. Young has also adopted elements from newer styles such as alternative rock and grunge.

Young is an outspoken advocate for environmental issues and the welfare of small farmers, and conducts concerts besides running The Bridge School, for children with severe verbal and physical disabilities.

During the mid-fifties, at around the age of ten, Young was drawn to a variety of musical genres including rock and roll, rockabilly, doo-wop, R&B, country, and western pop.

He sang idiosyncratic lyrics, and experimented with different musical approaches to the arrangement of original folk song. His songs were confessional folk-rock music and he continued with experimental productions to satisfy his ever increasing fans.

He had lot of political connections and this aspect was reflected in his songs and campaigns.

Besides he also covered subjects of Interpersonal relationships, environmental concerns, and condemnation of racism. He felt strongly about the collapse of 1960s folk ideals, the downside of success and the underbelly of the Californian lifestyle. He continued with mesmerizing, lucid, and bleary songs that created an impact.

While Young had never been a stranger to Eco-friendly lyrics, themes of environmentalist spirituality and activism became increasingly prominent in his work, with lyrics exploring Young’s personal Eco-spirituality.

He was awarded many times and has an envious fan following and Simply Vinyl is happy to bring to them an album that is of immense value and worth cherishing. It can be had at

The raspy voice, the heavy duty bass lines and an ever present fascination with rock and blues, was their hallmark that earned for them loyal fans for a long time. The intensity with which they sang, the great background vocals, made them admirable and ultimate to produce the best music of their times. Their songs had a quality of being pure fun, and made their fans happy in a deep soulful way. They were truly producing the songs to grow up with during the seventies and the rage and courage of that era reflected in their output. They were uniquely English and had a tinge of sadness in their composition that exuded the vibes. In them we had one of the richest and stylish bands and their appeal holds good even today.

Simply Vinyl is proud to bring them once again to take their several fans down the memory lane by just giving a click and assure them that they would have a pleasant and joyful evening that they can cherish for a long time to come.
